Aircraft noise is the most significant cause of adverse community reaction related to the operation and expansion of airports. Prolonged exposure to elevated sound levels from Aircraft Noise can cause hearing impairment, hypertension, sleep disturbance among other health issues. Over the past 16 years, To70’s wide range of operational and practical experience in noise modelling and noise assessments in various metrics, developing and validating aircraft noise modelling software, spatial impact assessment, noise insulation scheme design and assessment have been applied to wide range of airports around the world. In an effort to address the environmental issues related to the growing aviation market in India, To70 India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Global Coordinates for providing Noise Modelling Training in India. Global Coordinates specializes in the technologies of Software development, GIS and Aviation providing solutions at the micro and macro level for individuals and organisations respectively. To70 will be providing the required guidance and material for the noise modelling training, while Global Coordinates will market the training in India.
