Expanding horizons: To70 Germany has a new Managing Director

We are delighted to announce that Haiyun Huang has re-joined To70 as Managing Director of the To70 office in Germany. He will set up this new office in Munich, extending To70 Aviation’s services into Germany with the objective to support aviation stakeholders on research and consultancy, facing the current and future aviation challenges.

Haiyun holds an Aerospace Engineering degree and a Master in optimisation of flight operations. In 2018 he obtained certification for Instrument Flight Procedure Design for conventional, PBN, and PinS procedures. During his time as aviation consultant at To70 and previous professions Haiyun participated in projects globally related to airspace (re)designs, data analytics, GIS, full stack development, and project management.

“My long term goal for To70 Germany is to establish a solid client base whom flight operations are influenced by, be it government, airports, or public interest groups. Hereby providing our clients with outstanding research and consulting services, presenting data-driven insight, and taking clients’ specific operating environment into consideration. However, also be the voice to people without in-depth knowledge of flight operations” says Haiyun Huang. “We will identify opportunities for innovative development which will benefit society or generate high ROI to our aviation clients. Key areas we will address within Germany are Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), airspace and airport optimisation, bringing published flight procedures to smaller airports, and environmental sustainability.”

In his new role as Managing Director, Haiyun will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the German office and its continued growth, as well as its business development, project delivery, management of staff and the financial management of the company.
